Steward Environmental Solutions was created in February 2006 for the purpose of:

Developing and commercializing SAMMS® adsorbent solutions to solve global environmental and chemical challenges.

This technology was licensed from Battelle and Pacific Northwest National Laboratories in Richland, Washington.

Steward Environmental Solutions is part of the Steward group which has been manufacturing advanced magnetic powders for over 30 years. By combining the Steward powder expertise with the Battelle SAMMS technology, we are able to offer innovative adsorbent solutions for the collection of heavy metals

Our initial product was a magnetic adsorbent for removing mercury from flue gases of coal-fired power plants. Since then, we have developed other magnetic and non-magnetic adsorbents for use in liquid and gaseous applications.

Our goal is to develop the highest performing, lowest cost adsorbent solutions for the removal of heavy metals from waste streams and processes. We recognize that the environmental industry is a mature, highly developed business with many advanced delivery and recovery systems. While we have and are continuing to develop successful treatment systems, we wish to partner with various companies to develop engineered solutions to complex waste problems.
