1. What is the volume of effluent or flow rate of effluent and form (liquid, gas) that must be treated?
2. What is the input concentration or range of concentration of mercury in the effluent that must be treated?
3. What is the target concentration of mercury in the effluent that you wish to meet after treatment?
4. If known, what is the speciation of mercury (elemental, ionic, organic, etc.)?
5. What is the pH, or range of pH of the effluent?
6. What other inorganic chemical compounds are in the effluent? If available, please provide a chemical analysis with approximate concentrations.
7. What other organic compounds are in the effluent? If available, please provide approximate concentrations.
8. What is the total suspended solids (TSS) and dissolved solids (TDS)?
